Shawn Quan is a Ph.D. student at the University of Washington, Seattle. She researches the impact of the work-nonwork interface, social class, and positive organizational scholarship. She is passionate about making work an inclusive place that allows employees from all backgrounds to thrive.

When not doing research, Shawn is a climber, mountaineer, thru-hiker, and dog parent. She volunteers as a guide-runner for visually impaired athletes, and enjoys taking those of underprivilaged backgrounds outdoors.
